The lead osteoporosis program, EB613, is the same naturally-occurring peptide found in FDA-approved Forteo but is formulated with the proprietary N-Tab platform to enable daily oral dosing in place of Forteo’s daily injection, validated by  Ph2 data.  Following a recent change in FDA guidance, Entera is the first to receive clearance for a streamlined Ph3 design for osteoporosis, which will help to maintain its lead as both the most advanced osteoporosis asset and the only oral anabolic in development.  A broader pipeline includes programs for hypoparathyroidism, obesity, and short bowel syndrome.
