Leo’s key innovation is an upright patient positioning system that works with both proton and photon radiotherapy. Instead of rotating heavy gantries around lying patients, their platform rotates the patient around a fixed beam, rethinking treatment geometry. For proton centers, this cuts capital costs by ~50% and transforms the economics of new and retrofit facilities. For photon centers, it provides next-generation treatment with improved precision, patient comfort, and integrated CT imaging. Proceeds will be used for regulatory approval and construction of inventory to service large customer backlog.
