Collin Spencer, PhD

Collin Spencer, PhD is an Associate at Catalio Capital Management, LP, primarily focusing on private investments in AI-enabled healthcare.

Prior to joining Catalio, Collin was an AI Product Engineer at Coefficient Bio (acquired by Anthropic). He was a Schmidt Sciences Fellow and co-founded Nucleate NYC.

Collin earned his PhD in Biomedical AI from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he applied machine learning to single-cell genomics, identifying pathogenic and protective neuroimmune regulatory programs in Alzheimer's disease. He also held two international research fellowships in the Theis Lab at Helmholtz Munich. He holds a B.S. in Computational Biology from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
